Orientation at UTEP is required for all new students. Waivers are only considered under extreme circumstances. Submitting this form does not mean your request is automatically approved. You will be contacted once a decision is made.

By submitting this form, I confirm that:

  • Orientation is required for all students.

  • Waivers are only considered under extreme circumstances.

  • If my request is approved, I am still responsible for:

    • Meeting with an advisor

    • Registering for courses

    • Following financial aid and billing deadlines

    • Learning campus policies and student responsibilities shared at orientation

  • I understand that missing orientation may make my transition to UTEP more challenging if I do not take steps on my own.
